Support our troops this ANZAC Day

Re-invigorating Rosalie Village

QASMT celebrates Harmony Day

Federal Member for Ryan Jane Prentice today joined students at the Queensland Academy of Science, Mathematics and Technology to celebrate Harmony Day.

“The QASMT students put together a spectacular celebration for Harmony Day with many students dressed in their national costume, a flag parade, Indigenous dancers, a Tai Chi demonstration and a Bollywood dance performance,” she said.

Ryan local takes out restaurant and catering award

Federal Member for Ryan Jane Prentice has recognised local resident Robert O’Keeffe who was recently presented with a 2013-14 Lifetime Achiever Award for Queensland by the Restaurant and Catering Association.

Speaking in Federal Parliament, Mrs Prentice said that Mr O’Keeffe has been at the helm of the award-winning Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre as its general manager since opening in 1995.
