Mrs Prentice said the Turnbull Government was investing $250,000 to fund the delivery of online legal resources to help not-for-profit organisations and volunteers.
Justice Connect will provide legal support to organisations to help keep volunteers safe and better manage their operations. Online resources, including apps, e-learning modules, webinars, and a comprehensive national guide of best practice, will be rolled out later this year.
“Our volunteers in Ryan are donating their time and skills to make our communities better,” Mrs Prentice said.
“We all owe an enormous debt to our volunteers, and one way to support them is helping the organisations that support volunteers.
“I encourage all volunteer organisations in Ryan to access the tools when they become available later in the year.”
The funding was provided as part of the Prime Minister’s Community Business Partnership.
